Products Description

Custom CNC milling parts are a type of part manufacturing method that uses computer-controlled cutting tools to perform milling to meet specific design requirements.

Characteristics of CNC milling

1

High Precision

CNC milling achieves exceptionally high machining accuracy, with dimensional accuracy reaching ±0.005mm or higher, and surface roughness as low as Ra0.2μm. This meets the demands of machining parts with stringent dimensional and geometric requirements.

2

Flexibility

By changing the machining program, CNC milling machines can quickly adapt to varying machining requirements, making them ideal for custom production and small-batch production. They offer unique advantages for machining complex, high-precision parts.

3

High Production Efficiency

CNC milling machines feature a high degree of automation and can operate 24/7. Multiple machining steps can be performed with a single setup. Five-axis CNC milling can also complete the machining of multiple surfaces simultaneously, significantly improving production efficiency.

Production Process

The Machining Process of Custom CNC Milling Parts:
Preparation: Define the machining task, including part name, quantity, dimensions, and precision requirements; design a reasonable machining process based on the part's shape, dimensions, and precision requirements; create the machining program using CNC programming software; select appropriate tools and fixtures, and ensure they are in good condition.
Clamping and Positioning: Properly mount the part in the fixture, ensuring the contact surface between the part and the fixture is flat and secure. Use locating pins, locating blocks, and other tools to position the part on the milling machine table.
Tool Selection and Installation: Select the appropriate tool type, specifications, and parameters based on the material and process requirements. Then, install the tool on the milling machine's spindle, ensuring coaxiality and perpendicularity.
Machining Program Input and Verification: Input the compiled machining program into the CNC milling machine and verify its accuracy using the milling machine's simulation function to ensure smooth machining.
Machining Process Monitoring: Start the CNC milling machine and observe its operating status to ensure a stable and reliable machining process. Adjust machining parameters as needed based on actual machining conditions. Post-processing: After processing is completed, remove the parts and clean the fixtures and workbench, perform quality inspection on the parts to ensure that the parts meet the design requirements, and finally organize the tools, fixtures and other tools used in the processing, and clean the CNC milling machine.
