Milling, drilling, and tapping are performed from solid aluminum billets using multi-axis CNC machines. This process ensures extremely high precision in housing dimensions, complex internal features, and excellent overall structural integrity. Tight tolerances (typically ±0.05mm or better) ensure a perfect fit with internal components.

After CNC machining, the shell surface is sandblasted using a media with a specific particle size (such as aluminum oxide or glass beads) under controlled pressure. This step eliminates CNC machining marks and creates a uniform, non-directional matte texture. This provides an optimal adhesion base for subsequent anodizing and significantly improves tactile feel.

This is an electrochemical process in which the aluminum shell is placed in an acidic electrolyte, acting as the anode. A voltage is applied to the surface, creating a dense layer of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃). This oxide layer possesses extremely high surface hardness (reaching Mohs' hardness of 8 or higher), excellent wear and corrosion resistance, and its porous structure absorbs dyes, resulting in rich, long-lasting color.
Materials involved
