The CNC 4 axis milling enclosure relies on multi-axis linkage precision machining to form complex curved surfaces in one step, with small dimensional accuracy errors. It is suitable for instruments, equipment and other scenes, with both structural strength and appearance texture, and can be customized to meet various needs.

 

Process Flow

 

  1. Process planning is to determine the processing strategy, tool selection and shaft linkage mode of four-axis milling according to the design drawings of the enclosure.
  2. The blank preparation needs to select suitable raw materials according to the size requirements of the enclosure, and carry out pre-treatment such as leveling and cutting.
  3. The fixture design and clamping should be customized according to the structural characteristics of the enclosure, and the blank should be firmly clamped on the workbench of the four-axis machine tool and calibrated.
  4. NC programming needs the help of CAM software to transform the machining process into a recognizable G code of a four-axis machine tool, which contains the instructions of axis rotation and milling linkage.
  5. Machine tool debugging is to start the four-axis milling machine tool, perform tool alignment operation, set the workpiece coordinate system, and simulate the running program to check whether there is interference.
  6. In the rough machining stage, most of the surplus of the box blank is removed by four-axis linkage milling, and the basic outline is rapidly formed.
  7. Semi-finishing needs to adjust the cutting parameters, and carry out secondary machining on the outline and cavity of the enclosure to reduce the machining error.
  8. Finishing adopts high-precision tools and fine cutting parameters to complete the final shape, size and surface roughness of the enclosure.
  9. On-line detection uses the probe of the machine tool or external detection equipment to detect whether the key dimensions and shape and position tolerances of the enclosure are up to standard in real time.
  10. Deburring and surface treatment need to clean up the corner burrs after enclosure processing, and carry out surface treatment such as grinding and polishing as required.
  11. In the final inspection, the dimensions, accuracy and appearance of the enclosure shall be comprehensively inspected according to the drawings, and the processing shall be completed after passing the inspection.
