Custom-made aviation aluminum parts are manufactured by customizing aluminum alloy materials to meet specific aviation needs. This allows us to produce parts like the one shown in the image. These parts are primarily manufactured using CNC machining and casting.
Processing
CNC machining process
Machine preparation and tool setting: Securely mount the workpiece onto the worktable of the CNC machine tool (usually a three-axis or five-axis machining center) using a fixture. Install the required tools and perform tool setting to establish an accurate workpiece coordinate system.
Roughing: Using large-diameter tools and a high material removal rate strategy, most of the excess material is quickly removed to form an approximate contour of the part. The main goal is efficiency, and sufficient machining allowance will be left.
Semi-finishing: Prepares for finishing by removing uneven allowances left from roughing to obtain a more uniform allowance.
Finishing: Using sharp finishing tools, with small depth of cut, high speed, and appropriate feed, the surface is machined to the final dimensions and tolerances to achieve the required surface finish. For complex curved surfaces, five-axis simultaneous machining is crucial at this stage.

Casting process
Casting is a metal forming technology that pours molten metal or alloy into a pre-made mold and waits for it to cool and solidify to obtain a casting with a specific shape, size and properties.It is widely used in automobile, machinery, aerospace, rail transportation and other fields.

Heat treatment
Processes such as vacuum air quenching, vacuum oil quenching, and aluminum alloy heat treatment precisely control heating temperature and time to ensure uniform microstructure distribution within the material and enhance overall mechanical properties.

Surface Treatment
Common treatments include anodizing/hard anodizing, chemical conversion coating, passivation, and electroplating, which can improve the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and aesthetics of aluminum parts.
